NCRD will on no account accept funding, donations or financial assistance that  could damage the good name of NCRD or result in the dissemination of incorrect information.

All donations of money or goods by commercial organizations, in particular from the pharmaceutical industry, are accepted on condition that NCRD maintains complete independence from any commercial influence from those organizations and that no rights of any kind to participate in the activity for which a monetary donation or a sponsorship has been granted are conceded to the donating organization. NCRD retains total editorial control of all materials and will not  support or promote, either explicitly or implicitly, any product or service whatever of the sponsors.

All financial cooperation must be transparent and is subject to appropriate obligations of disclosure and openness.

Overall, firms and businesses, when collaborating with NCRD, must  act in accordance with the following guidelines:

• NCRD must give written approval of when and where the NCRD logo and the name may be used. Permission must be obtained for the use of all textual matter relating to NCRD.
• Publication of press releases relating to NCRD is not permitted unless prior approval has been obtained.
• NCRD retains the right of veto over all materials produced in connection with a commercial sponsor that contain any mention of NCRD. Sufficient time must be allowed for such permission to be obtained.
